This is the view of the church in Nykarleby, the closest town (our village belongs to the larger area of Nykarleby). The river in the center is the most beautiful part. This photo I took last night when picking up D from a friend's place. I attended the new photoclub's meeting, and for the first time brought a photo of my own (didn't have any good ones the last two times and also the dates were unconvenient). We look at each other's photos (anonymously) and then vote for the three best photos, the one with most points is the winner, and gets to choose the theme for the next time. This time the theme was "foreboding". I'm so glad my photo also got a few votes :)
This photo was a lucky shot - D doesn't know how to blow soapbubbles yet, so it was hard to both blow and try to get a shot at the same time :). I find cutting the photos really difficult - how to know how much to cut?! The original below.

Det var jättefina foton du tagit! Jag tror inte jag tidigare sett en skymningsbild med Nykarleby kyrka men fotot var väldigt stämningsfullt!! Fotografiet av D och såpbubblan är väldigt fint, sällan man ser kombination av barn och såpbubbla, det beskärda fotot är superbra, det ser så fint ut med D:s lilla hand bakom bubblan! Du har verkligen anlag för både fotografering och målning!

Marianne: Det var en så jättefin kväll, ingen vind och jag råkade hitta en plats att ställa kameran så bilden inte blev skakig. Såpbubblebilden var lite jobbigare, D kan inte själv blåsa bubblor ännu, så det tog tid och det gällde att var snabb: blåsa bra bubbla, greppa kameran, hoppas på att D märkt bubblan, hinna få in fokus och hoppas på att den inte spricker före D är tillräckligt nära - puh! :)
