I'm sooooo happy to be able to show you this picture - I've began to pack for our trip to France and for the first time D will have use of his new passport :). He is at his dad's this weekend, which is perfect. I stayed home from work on Friday - this time I wasn't going to work "half-well". Many times I've felt I have a cold coming on but thought "well, it's soon weekend/holidays" or whatever and then felt tired and ill for weeks when I haven't taken the time to rest properly. The problem is that I seldom get a "proper" temperature, just a little rise which makes me feel more exhausted than when I have 38 degrees, for instance. But like I said - this time I wasn't going to jeopardize our trip and stayed home on Friday. I still have a bit of a headache and sore muscles (could also be due to teaching salsa to firstgraders on Thursday :) - but I can take it easy for two days now, so I'm confident that I'll be in shape for our "supertravel-Monday". Starting at 6.15 in the morning from home - hopefully arriving around 10 pm at my friend's house, if all connections have worked out: car - train - bus - plane tp Paris - train - car.I've had a lot of work lately with the refugees, which of course is a good thing, but I've felt a bit stressed, since there hasn't been time to relax (or write, neither professionally nor here). I find it hard to work full days and on top of that continue at home with cooking, checking my mother's things and getting D to bed (basically full speed from 6 am - 9 pm). I need an afternoon now and then to catch my breath, think of what needs to be done, do bookkeeping (for the refugeejob - otherwise I don't get paid) and other paperwork. I really hope things will fall into a nice pattern after the trip. Spring is also my favorite time of the year - usually I feel energetic and motivated, so that should help as well.
