Sigh

Will this never end....Well, I guess this IS finally the beginning of the end of this ------ winter. Today I almost got stuck with the car when coming home by car - thank God my cousin has the equipment to clear the driveway.






In front of our barn it was impossible to even try to drive after all the snow fell off the roof today. The car with the mail enters our yard twice a day (morning papers and mail at noon) - we are privileged to get the mail delivered to our door, thanks to my parents, who were unable to walk to the mailbox. Since my mother is still alive, they haven't removed it, which of course is a great relief for me).







It's been a hectic week - haven't even had time to clear away the suitcase yet and getting nervous about the mess in the house. But the days have been filled with work and Mondaynight for meeting at the local tvstation, on Tuesday "my" Somali girl visited us for a few hours.

Today I attended a lecture about female circumcision..not exactly the most cheerful topic, but very interesting and informative.

We also finally received our new sofa this week, but I haven't had time to clear away the extra things yet for a photo. Suffice it to say at this point: I LOVE IT :). In the mornings I just want to keep on lying on it :).
